Do I have a van or do I come inside our house?
I do not have a van or vehicle that I use to trim your pets' nails in. I will usually come inside your home and trim your pets' nails. If you'd prefer for me to do them in the backyard, I am ok with that. I am very flexible - I want the whole process to be as smooth and comfortable as possible for your pets and you as well.
Will I need to be present or help during this process?
Most of the time yes. Very few pets enjoy or will sit still for nail trims or anal glands. I work by myself and without an assistant. On a rare occasion my husband is available to help if needed. So, 99% of the time I will need your assistance, Pet Parents! Sometimes it's as easy as feeding some yummy treats! Other times if you know your pets hate it, might turn into a wrestling match! We want to try and make this a low stress event as possible and I do my best to make it that. Sometimes your fur babies need you there too.
What type of exotic and pocket pets am I able to trim nails on?
Really anything, I have done guinea pigs, rabbits, and some birds. I can do others if needed like ferrets or other small furry friends. If you have specific questions feel free to ask and I will let you know if I can help you out, or if I don't feel comfortable doing that type of animal.
Do I provide any services other than nail trims and anal glands?
Not currently, but depending on the requested service I may be able to make an exception. I was formerly a Vet Technician, so please contact me with questions I'll see what I can do. I have zero experience in grooming so I do not offer grooming haircuts or styles and baths.
How far do I travel and do I charge a travel fee?
I currently live in Surprise. I provide service to all of the West Valley and I have traveled to further locations, but I do charge a travel fee for anything farther than 15 miles from my house. So, when you contact me for an appointment, I would be more than happy to tell you if I would need to charge a travel fee.
What forms of payment to do I take?
I can accept many different forms of payment. I will always accept cash, I have a Square reader so I can take cards and it is a contactless reader as well so I can also accept mobile type payments. I accept Venmo and Zelle. If you're interested in those, I can let you know how to find me through those apps.
